Rap Joint Lagos is a vibrant food and lifestyle destination blending urban culture with culinary excellence. Known for its hip-hop-inspired ambiance and bold flavors, we’re looking for a passionate and creative Chef to lead our kitchen and deliver exceptional food experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute an innovative, Afro-urban menu that aligns with the Rap Joint brand.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Manage kitchen staff, training and motivating the team to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Monitor inventory, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
Stay up-to-date with food trends and introduce seasonal specials or menu updates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a fast-paced, casual dining or urban-themed restaurant.
Strong culinary and plating skills, with a flair for contemporary African and international cuisine.
Leadership and organizational abilities.
Food safety certification is an added advantage.
