Job Description
Location: Ikeja, Lagos | Industry: Renewable Energy (Solar, Storage, Wind)
Job Type: Full-Time | Level: Mid–Senior
We’re hiring an HR Manager to lead and scale our HR function in a growing renewable energy startup. This role is ideal for someone with experience building HR systems from scratch and working in Chinese-led organizations. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive people strategy, talent acquisition, compliance, performance, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with company growth.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning.
Build performance management, L&D, and employee engagement frameworks.
Manage compensation, benefits, and attendance tracking systems.
Foster a collaborative culture and bridge cross-cultural team dynamics.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal policies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Admin, or related field.
CIPM or CIPD certification is required.
Minimum 6 years’ HR experience, with 2+ years in management.
Proven record building HR systems in startups.
Experience working with Chinese expatriate leadership is strongly preferred.
Solid knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
