Job Description

Job Title: HR Recruitment Officer
Industry: Renewable Energy
Location: Ikeja
Reports to: HR Manager

Job Summary

We seek a results-driven HR Recruitment Officer to lead our recruitment efforts in a fast-growing renewable energy company. The ideal candidate will have experience in multicultural environments, particularly with Chinese stakeholders, and strong skills in sourcing top talent through various channels. You will be instrumental in attracting, hiring, and retaining high-performing professionals at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job design to onboarding.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to determine workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies.
· Build a network of sourcing channels, including job boards and university partnerships.
· Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate fit with company culture.
· Lead employer branding initiatives to attract talent in renewable energy.
· Help develop a talent pipeline and contribute to employee retention strategies.
· Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with global standards.
· Provide regular recruitment updates to management.
· Ensure recruitment activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
· Maintain accurate recruitment records and monitor key metrics.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field. HR certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, with at least 1 year in the renewable energy, manufacturing, or related sector.
Proven experience collaborating with Chinese stakeholders or within Chinese-owned businesses is essential.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software tools.
Exposure to HR generalist functions such as performance management or learning & development is a plus.
