Role Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will lead strategic and hands-on recruitment efforts across technical, operational, and corporate roles. You will be responsible for designing innovative talent acquisition strategies, optimizing the candidate experience, and maintaining compliance with labor regulations and organizational standards. The role also supports attendance management and other core HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
• Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies tailored to the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, storage, etc.).
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: job requisition, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
• Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and align recruitment priorities with strategic business objectives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of diverse talent using advanced sourcing tools.
2. Candidate Experience & Branding
• Serve as a brand ambassador to ensure a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
• Build and maintain a positive employer brand on social media and job platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, LinkedIn).
• Develop interview guides and train hiring managers on structured interview techniques and bias reduction.
3. Recruitment Analytics & Compliance
• Track recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire).
• Ensure accurate data entry in the ATS and talent pipeline reports.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, renewable energy employment guidelines, and DEI hiring practices.
4. Attendance & HR Operational Support
• Oversee digital attendance and time-tracking systems.
• Generate accurate reports for payroll and compliance.
• Support the HR Manager with special projects and general administrative support as required.
Key Requirements:
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in technical or renewable energy industries.
• Proven experience using modern ATS systems.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing niche and technical roles (e.g., solar engineers, project managers, field technicians).
• Mastery of Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, and other sourcing tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and HR reporting.
