About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team at a reputable restaurant in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing Chinese cuisine, continental dishes, Nigeria delicacies with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fry, dim sum, fried rice, noodles, soups), Nigeria delicacies and Continental dishes.
Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standard of taste and presentation.
Manage kitchen inventory, ingredients, and food preparation processes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Innovate and introduce new Chinese recipes to refresh the menu.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef.
Deep knowledge of Chinese dishes, Nigerian delicacies cooking techniques and traditional recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Culinary school certification is an added advantage.
