Pastry Chef

Ultrahire is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable Pastry Chef on behalf of its Client. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of delicacies such as Pies, Cakes, Doughnuts, Puff Puff, and other sweet delicacies.

Your talent in baking high-quality delights should be in line with your creativity. You should be creative and have a knack for developing yummy and wonderful tastes and recipes.

Responsibilities

Prepare dough, fillings, batters, and other components by measuring or weighing ingredients using graduated containers or scales to ensure uniformity.
Responsible for the creation of all pastry-related goods applicable to the menu. Bake and Decorate pastries and other baked goods, including custom-made decorations for events
Maintain safety and sanitary standards in production areas according to the State’s Health Code and internal standards.
Actively participates in menu planning and the introduction of new products that meet established standards of quality and innovation
Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients
Perform routine checks on raw materials to ensure they adhere to high-quality standards and are not expired or damaged.
Inspect baked goods to ensure they are of the highest quality, and remove any damaged items before they reach the display case.
Adjust the number of ingredients, the oven temperatures, conveyor speeds, and humidity as needed so that all products come out as expected
