Job Description
Operational Management
Oversee all store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked.
Monitor pricing, promotions, and product displays.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and appraise staff performance.
Ensure staff compliance with company policies and customer service standards.
Provide coaching and disciplinary measures where necessary.
Sales and Customer Service
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Inventory and Stock Management
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and coordinate with suppliers.
Oversee inventory counts and minimise stock losses or expiries.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage store budgets and expenditure.
Analyse sales reports and implement corrective measures for underperforming products or departments.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Comply with all regulatory and company policies regarding store operations.
Key Requirements:
Education: Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of progressive retail management experience.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse sales data and prepare reports.
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
