Job Description

Responsibility

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts. Ensure all entries are accurately recorded in the company’s accounting software.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance. These reports may include income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
•Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor spending to ensure alignment with financial goals. Track budget variances and provide insights on areas that may require adjustments.
•Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage accounts payable (payments to suppliers) and accounts receivable (collections from customers) to ensure timely payments and collections. Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements

•Adept computer skills and proficiency using programs like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
•Minimum of 2-4 years experience as an accountant
.Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics like billing and payments
•Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records for a company
•Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company’s records and invoices
•Multitasking in order to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices and payments at various stages of execution
•Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference
