Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to oversee the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role is essential in helping the company maintain financial efficiency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage day-to-day financial transactions and accounting processes.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

Manage cash flow and support the development of financial strategies.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Support procurement and inventory controls through financial tracking.

Maintain and update financial records, systems, and databases.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

5+ years of proven experience as a Finance Officer, Accountant, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ICAN are a plus.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in the Construction industry.

Familiarity with project-based accounting or cost control systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
