Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the restaurant.
This includes bookkeeping, budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliation, inventory cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports including income statements, cash flow, and balance sheets
Monitor and record day-to-day restaurant transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, inventory, etc.)
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Track inventory usage and reconcile stock reports with purchases and usage
Prepare tax documents and liaise with auditors or regulatory bodies when required
Assist in budget preparation and expense control
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Advise management on financial decisions and cost-saving opportunities
Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to financial procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 - 4 years accounting experience (experience in hospitality or retail is an advantage)
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Excel)
Sound understanding of financial reporting and taxation in Nigeria
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
