Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations — all while working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documents, in accordance with internal policies and international accounting standards.

• Prepare Financial Reports: Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements across various regions.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and process incoming invoices, vendor payments, and customer billing. Ensure timely reconciliation and communication with vendors and clients globally.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management and department heads to develop, monitor, and update budgets and forecasts. Provide insights into variances and help improve financial planning.

• Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing international tax forms, VAT, and other compliance-related documents. Stay updated on tax regulations in relevant jurisdictions and coordinate with external consultants as needed.

• Audit Preparation & Support: Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits. Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits across multiple entities or countries.

• Payroll Processing: Collaborate with payroll service providers to process payroll on time, ensure statutory deductions are correct, and maintain accurate employee compensation records.

• Internal Controls: Help implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies in financial processes.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process optimization, improved documentation, or compliance enhancements. Contribute to developing and updating financial policies and procedures.
