Job Summary
Sebore Farms International is seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to join our renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems across our farm facilities. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
-Installation: Perform installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and related systems on rooftops, ground mounts, and other designated areas as per specifications and safety standards.
-Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance checks on solar installations, identify issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and implement necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
-System Monitoring: Monitor solar energy systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently; use analytical tools to track energy production and identify any discrepancies.
-Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support, answering any questions or concerns related to solar energy systems for users and other stakeholders.
-Compliance: Ensure all installations and maintenance works comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as the company’s safety policies and standards.
-Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system performance; report findings and recommendations to management.

-Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
-Training: Assist in training new technicians and staff on solar technologies and best practices in installation and maintenance.
-Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in solar technology, industry trends, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a solar technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of solar PV systems and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols related to solar installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions, including adverse weather, while adhering to safety standards.
- Relevant certifications such as NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) are highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
