Job Description
The Assistant Production Manager supports the Production Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring efficient production processes, quality output, compliance with health and safety regulations, and timely delivery of products. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing workers, optimizing workflows, and resolving operational issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising production schedules and operations.
Coordinate with production supervisors, machine operators, and quality control staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor production output to ensure that products are produced on time and meet quality standards.
Help maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime by resolving technical or manpower issues.
Track production data and generate reports on performance, quality, and productivity.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols on the shop floor.
