Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos for an Experienced Retail Sales Manager.

Are you an Experienced Insurance professional with a passion for driving sales and leading winning team?
Do you currently manage a team of retail agents or have the experience and gut to build a team from scratch?

Fortis Global Insurance needs experienced sales manager.

The sales manager needs to drive a sales team toward actualizing a given target. Recruit, mentor and manage high performing retail team members
Will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of insurance agents, setting sales target, and developing sales strategies.
Daily tasks include providing training performance evaluations and support to the team members, ensuring compliances with company policies and staying updated on industry trends. The role entails working closely with clients to understand their insurance needs, assisting team members in closing deals and ensuring excellent customer services.
However, you can either bring along an existing team of dynamic sales team members or rapidly recruit, train and lead a productive retail sales force.

Qualifications

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Experience in insurance sales, sales strategy development and team management.
Proven experience 3 to 5 years in relationship management and business development in the insurance sector
Ability to analyze market trends and develop marketing strategies
Competence in preparing detailed reports and handling multiple accounts simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in using CRM software and other marketing tools
Knowledge of the Nigerian insurance market is an advantage
