Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Track all business activities with financial implications and file the corresponding source document.

• Posting journal entries with reference to identified source document for financial statement generations

• Maintaining Account receivables, documents bill and supporting documentations

• Maintaining Account payable ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and ensuring necessary approval to pay is received.

• Maintain and update financial records, and expense reports, using appropriate accounting software and systems.
• Maintain necessary financial schedules.

• Support in monitoring and reconciling financial transactions, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and adherence to accounting principles.

• Comply with the applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making processes.

• Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.

• Ensure timely filing for tax and other statutory obligations.

• Assist with the end of month/year closure procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in accounting or related fields.
• 1 - 2 years of accounting work experience.
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast past environment and meet deadlines adequately.
• Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.
