Job Description
• Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in the employer's home.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in.
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children, following any dietary guidelines provided by the parents.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support children in completing homework assignments and encourage educational activities.
• Maintain children's schedules and routines, including nap times, school drop-offs/pick-ups, and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and children's rooms, and doing children's laundry.
• Adhere to any specific rules or guidelines set by the parents regarding discipline, screen time, and other parenting preferences.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a nanny, childcare provider, or in a related role.
• Genuine love for children and a passion for providing nurturing care and support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both children and parents.
• Patience, understanding, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred but not always required).
• Trustworthiness, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and occasional evening or weekend hours.
• Legal eligibility to work as a nanny in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Positive attitude, creativity, and a willingness to actively engage with children to foster their growth and development.

- 120.000,00 NGN Monthly
