Microbiologist

Our client is a food company that specializes in packaged flour products in Lagos Mainland is currently in need of an experienced Young Graduate of Microbiologist to work in the Quality Control department. The preferred candidates must be Male/Female HND/B.SC /M.Sc graduates under 35 years old with previous experience in the Food industry that specializes in working with flour products. He/She must ensure that product quality and laboratory systems meet company standards, regulatory standards, and customer expectations. The Job description includes, but is not limited to, the following:

 Implementing HACCP procedures
 Identifying the critical control points (CCPs) in all production process
 Establishing Critical Limits for each CCP and providing corrective measures
 Ensuring that all products meet NAFDAC, SON, and other legal regulatory bodies
 Calibrate, and validate all laboratory equipment and measuring scales
 Ensuring a clean and hazardous-free working environment
 Ensuring that standards, quality, and specifications of all incoming raw and packaging materials are maintained
 Ensuring and maintaining health and safety standards
 Carrying out daily In- process checks and stability samples
 Carrying out organoleptic checks of all incoming raw materials, In-process and finished products
 Carrying out analysis of raw materials, In-process, and finished products
 Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personal hygiene and Safety
 Ensuring implementation of HACCP procedures
 Compiling data for documentation of test procedures
 Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as applicable
 Working closely with the production team to ensure the quality of the product is met
