Job Description
As a Fleet Supervisor your job role ensures all transport needs are met, vehicles are well-maintained, drivers trained, travel routes regularly assessed/updated in coordination with security department and any operational gaps addressed in a timely manner.
Job Location:
1. Ibadan, Oyo state
2. Asaba, Delta State
Job Responsibilities
Manage the Drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
Complying with the Federal and State Ministry of Transport laws and regulations on all trips.
Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles
Job Requirements:
Experience in managing fleet
Ability to take initiative and be flexible in a constantly-changing work environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of excel / google sheets and ease with a variety of tech platforms and reporting.
2+ years of experience managing transportation operations.
HND or Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field
