Job Description

Job Title: Head of Sales/Business Development Manager
Location: Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time

Duties:
 Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the investment and credit facilities sector.
 Lead and manage the sales and business development team to drive performance and achieve targets.
 Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on investment and credit facilities.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
 Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
 Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
 Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
 Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and lead generation strategies.
 Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
 Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
 Provide training, mentorship, and support to the sales and business development team.
 Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
 Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
 Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
 Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:
 Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
 Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager for at least five (5) years.
 Extensive experience in the investment and credit facilities sector.
 Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques specific to investment and credit facilities.
 Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 Proficiency in CRM software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
 Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
 Strong organizational and time management abilities.
 Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
