Job Description
Location: Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time
Duties:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the investment and credit facilities sector.
Lead and manage the sales and business development team to drive performance and achieve targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on investment and credit facilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and lead generation strategies.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
Provide training, mentorship, and support to the sales and business development team.
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager for at least five (5) years.
Extensive experience in the investment and credit facilities sector.
Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques specific to investment and credit facilities.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
