Job Description

The appointee will be required to:
• Drive and coordinate activities and programs aimed at promoting and deepening Digital Transformation & Innovation communication in the organization.
• Drive and support the overall communication program for Digital Transformation towards helping the organization achieve its strategic goals.
• Act as content curator and generator to support delivery of communication programs for Digital Transformation.

The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and rollout a detailed communication plan for change management program/plan to support the delivery of digital transformation program within the organization
o Define communications purpose, content, and information channels
o Develop and execute communication plans for the product portfolio to communicate delivery plan/schedule priorities and impact across the organization to provide transparency into digital initiatives delivery
o Design and develop communication strategies that will guide the adoption of digital transformation changes within the organization
o Define communication deliverables for all stakeholders
o Develop and rollout communication to support user adoption and sustainability plan for deployment and launch of digital products
• Develop, socialize, and disseminate all communications for digital transformation
o Draft all communication materials
o Source content for all communication entities and articulate for re-production
o Socialize communications with key and relevant stakeholders
o Collaborate to manage the dissemination of communication to stakeholders
• Work with stakeholders to determine proactive communications strategies to drive visibility, dissemination, and adoption of business transformation initiatives
• Develop communication programs for digital and innovation events such as Digital & Innovation Week, Hackathons, Seminars, Master Classes etc. in conjunction with both internal and external teams.
• Manage the various D&I communication channels and platforms.
• Support the Head of Digital Transformation, Business Engagement and Culture to develop and maintain communication programs for Digital & Innovation
• Work with designated D & I personnel to publish user’s guides, procedures, and reference documents.
• Act as thought leader for digital transformation communication strategy and partner with the various business teams on continuous communication to keep the entire organization appraised of the continuous transformation work in progress.
• Act as Information Management Focal for the department
• Wear multiple hats and ability to handle multiple strategic and operational needs
• Comfortable with uncertainty and willingness to try new things.
• Support the vision for Digital Business Engagement, Culture, and Communication
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Accountabilities

• Responsible for implementing detailed communication plans and programs of D&I department.
• Responsible for the communication platforms and channels of D&I activities.
• Responsible for the publication of D&I policies, procedures, user guides, KPIs and SLAs.
• Organizes the internal and external events of the D&I department.

Qualification (knowledge/skills/abilities/behaviors):
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience and a deep knowledge and understanding of business strategy and how the vision links to Digital Transformation & Innovation
• Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of Innovation Management, Digital Transformation, Agile methodology, Change Management and Communication.
• Must be creative, possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as diverse communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Prior experience in implementing communication strategies
• Possess strong relationship management skills.
• Should have excellent sense of organization, time management and methods.
• Leading teams, influencing colleagues, and generating broad consensus across a multi-culture environment
• Champion diversity of team, thought, and opinion
Salary:
400.000,00 NGN Monthly
