Job Description

Job Summary
Jenniez School of African Interior Design and Jenniez Designs are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to drive enrollment and project sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, converting prospective students and design clients, and building long-term relationships to support the growth of both the school and the design firm. This role requires a confident communicator who is passionate about sales, understands the interior design industry, and is able to convey the value of our educational programs and design services.

This is a full-time role with the primary focus on increasing student enrollment, acquiring new design projects, and contributing to the company’s overall sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting
Identify and generate new leads through various channels such as digital marketing, referrals, industry events, networking, and outreach.
Develop and implement strategies to target prospective students and clients for Jenniez School of African Interior Design and Jenniez Designs.
Qualify leads based on their needs and match them with the appropriate courses or design services.
Maintain and update a database of leads and prospects in the CRM system.
2. Sales Conversion
Contact leads via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide information about the school’s programs, course offerings, and design services.
Effectively communicate the value propositions of both the school and the design company, addressing client and student concerns, and handling objections.
Guide prospective students through the application process, helping them understand course requirements, payment plans, and enrollment deadlines.
Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing, ensuring that sales targets for both school enrollments and design projects are met.
3. Relationship Management and Client Retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, current students, alumni, and design clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction, follow up on client and student experiences, and encourage positive word-of-mouth.
Collaborate with the Client Relations team to resolve any client or student issues that arise during the sales process.
4. Sales Reporting and Analysis
Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and results, providing insights to the Marketing and Sales Manager.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, market demands, and opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to sales forecasts and assist in setting sales targets.
5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
Analyze competitor offerings and pricing to develop competitive sales strategies.
Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding market demands, customer preferences, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
6. Event Participation and Promotion
Participate in industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and school open houses to represent Jenniez School of African Interior Design and Jenniez Designs.
Assist in organizing and promoting events, including the Blueprint Conference, Design Banter forums, and Design and Wellness Retreats.
Network with industry professionals and potential clients at events to generate leads and raise awareness about the brand.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Lead Conversion Rate: Number of qualified leads converted into students and design clients.
Sales Revenue: Amount of revenue generated from course enrollments and design projects.
Client and Student Retention: Rate of returning clients and students, based on relationship management and follow-up.
Customer Satisfaction: Measure satisfaction levels through feedback and surveys from both students and design clients.
Sales Pipeline Management: Ability to manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in education, design, or a service-based industry.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong closing skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and students professionally and persuasively.
Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with clients and students.
Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic digital marketing tools.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, terms, and project timelines to meet the needs of both the client and the company.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the interior design industry or education sector is highly advantageous.
Presentation Skills: Experience with presenting proposals to potential clients and leading sales presentations for prospective students.
Networking: Ability to build and leverage professional networks within the design and education sectors.
Work Environment
This role is a mix of in-office work and field-based sales activities, with occasional travel for meetings, events, or client visits.
The Sales Executive will work closely with the marketing team, client relations, and academic coordinators to achieve sales goals.
