Position: Head of Operations

Job Description (Summary)
As the Head of Operations, you will lead the retail operations team, ensuring that all locations operate efficiently and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing performance, controlling operational costs, driving revenue growth, and ensuring stores meet and exceed company targets. The role also involves team leadership, financial oversight, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance retail performance.
Operational Leadership:
Develop and implement retail operational strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Oversee the performance and day-to-day management of all retail locations, ensuring operational excellence.
Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
Performance Management:
Monitor store performance through KPIs such as sales targets, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.
Develop action plans to address underperforming stores and support them in meeting targets.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure high operational standards are maintained.
Financial Oversight:
Manage operational budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability across all retail locations.
Work with finance teams to analyze store performance and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Forecast sales and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Team Management and Development:
Lead, coach, and mentor regional managers and store managers to improve performance and achieve targets.
Identify training and development opportunities to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centric service within retail teams.
Customer Experience:
Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores.
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement customer engagement strategies and promotions.
Act on customer feedback to improve store operations and service levels.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Oversee inventory management to ensure stores have the right stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess.
Work closely with supply chain teams to streamline product deliveries and reduce delays.
Optimize store layouts and merchandising to improve product visibility and increase sales.
Technology and Innovation:
Introduce and implement technological solutions to improve store efficiency, such as POS systems, inventory management tools, and customer analytics.
Stay up-to-date with retail industry trends and innovations to keep the company competitive.

Required Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Operations, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
· 8-10 years of experience in retail management or operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
· Proven track record of managing multiple retail locations and achieving operational success.
· Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
