Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Determine and define project objectives and scope
• Manage multiple consulting mandates from clients by assigning tasks to project teams and communicating expected deliverables
• Define the resources needed to reach the objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Track project costs in order to stay within the project budget
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about project execution, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• At least a 2.1 bachelor’s degree in project management or in any of the business sciences from a top-tier university
. A master's degree is an added advantage
• Must have a certification in Project Management (PMP, etc.)
• A Distinction in English
• Minimum 5-6 years of project management experience
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong experience in using cutting-edge project management software
• Experience in over-seeing multiple concurrent projects successfully
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Must have worked in a training or consulting firm
