Job Description:
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about developing people and has a proactive approach to creating a positive workplace culture, an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources management. This on-site role in Lagos requires a professional with strong knowledge of employment laws, proven experience in recruitment and employee relations, and a strategic approach to training and performance management. The HR Manager will ensure compliance with labor laws, foster positive employee relations, and implement effective HR practices that align with the company’s goals. Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of staff.
Develop and implement HR policies that promote a positive work environment and adhere to labor laws.
Oversee training and development programs, fostering growth and skills enhancement among employees.
Lead performance management processes, including regular appraisals, feedback sessions, and addressing performance issues.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, resolving grievances and providing guidance on policies.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations to protect the company and its employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and manage HR documentation.
Work closely with management to support strategic HR planning and staffing needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resources management.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in recruitment, training, and performance management.
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
HR certification and additional certifications in Hospitality, Human Relations, or Management are a plus.
