Restaurant Floor manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Floor Manager in Ikoyi, Lagos. The Restaurant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure customer satisfaction, manage staff hiring, maintain communication with customers, and oversee food & beverage services.

Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience:
Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
Staff Management:
Supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts.
Schedule staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for peak hours.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
Maintain inventory and manage supplies for the dining area.
Financial Management:
Assist in budgeting and controlling costs related to labor and supplies.
Ensure compliance with cash handling and payment processing procedures.
Monitor sales and track performance metrics to meet financial targets.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train staff on food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a restaurant management role, preferably as a Floor Manager.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of food service operations and POS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
