Job Description
Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and manage wills, trusts, estates, contracts and deeds.
* Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor HR compliance
* Prepare pleadings, and notices and make appearances in court
* Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
* Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
* Monitor legal risk in documentation and give guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk.
* Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
* Attend court sessions and liaise with external counsel with respect to litigation, arbitration, tax appeals, and any other dispute resolution proceeding
Qualification
* At least 3-4years post-call experience as a Human Resources Legal Manager
-A lawyer with years of Sales experience and managing a Sales team
-Ability to drive deals and negotiate
* LLB, BL degree with little Human Resource/Administrative Background
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures, with emphasis on fiscal and finance matters, commercial issues, labor-related matters, interpretation of Nigerian legislation and contractual obligations
* Prior experience in providing a company with legal guidance in transactions with third parties
Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
* Has experience setting goals and meeting targets
Salary 150k-180k
