Job Description
These are exciting times! We invite feminist professionals to join us as our Board of Directors. Send in your applications, and let’s build a world of women’s liberation through mass media.
About Naija Feminists Media (NFM)
We are an organised body that represents the interests of women’s liberation through mass media in a way uninfluenced by profitability and propaganda. We produce knowledge products–Feminist News, Free Women's (FM) Vodcast, Women’s Art, and NFM Films–that demystify Nigeria's misogynistic and patriarchal culture, rework the stereotype that gender equality is un-African and unnecessary, and highlight Nigerian women's perspectives on global gender issues.
What being an NFM Board Member entails
First, you can make history as a pioneer NFM board member and contribute to women’s liberation. You will contribute to NFM's strategic decisions and direction from its formative stage. You will attend six remote board meetings yearly, serve on the committee of our projects, contribute your expertise to our organisation, and help keep us accountable, impactful, and sustainable.
The NFM board membership is a two-year tenure unless extended.
