Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Torydoes Nigeria Limited , a leading out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
o Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
o Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
2. Budgeting and Reporting:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
o Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
o Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost efficiency and profitability.
3. Tax and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
o Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors as needed.
o Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
4. Payroll Management:
o Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, and deductions.
o Manage employee expense claims and reimbursements.
5. Collaboration and Advisory:
o Work closely with the management team to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
o Support other departments with financial information and documentation as required.
6. System Maintenance:
o Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and maintain financial data integrity.
o Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and controls.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the advertising or media industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the financial aspects of OOH advertising operations is an advantage.
