Job Description

Responsibilities:
An Export Operation responsibilities include:
Export documentation: Producing, reviewing, and distributing import and export documentation
Customer service: Providing customer service via email, telephone, and other communication methods
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with export laws and regulations
Inventory management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels
Supply chain management: Optimizing supply chain operations
Contract management: Negotiating and managing contracts with third-party logistics providers
Performance metrics: Analyzing and reporting on operational performance metrics
Customer service levels: Monitoring customer service levels and taking corrective action as necessary
Cost reduction: Developing and implementing strategies to reduce cost
Liaising with carriers and freight forwarders
Coordinating with sales and purchasing teams
Coordinating with finance and accounting departments
Assisting with customs clearance procedures
Maintaining accurate records of import and export transactions

Requirements:
Proven work experience as Operations personnel in a Shipping and Logistics firm.
Excellent use of MS Advanced Excel
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Experience budgeting and forecasting.
Familiarity with business and financial principles.
Excellent communication skills.
