Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience in managing financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure the accuracy of financial records and maintain a proper filing system for all financial documents.
Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
Prepare tax returns and assist in tax-related matters.
Maintain and update the general ledger, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Assist in the preparation for audits and handle any related documentation.
Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, create reports, and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
