Job Description
Record container entry and exit information, arrange storage locations
Monitor yard inventory to optimize space utilization
Supervise the movement of empty and loaded containers to prevent misplacement
2. Loading and Unloading Coordination
Arrange container loading and unloading according to customer requirements
Ensure proper cargo placement to avoid overloading or height issues
Communicate with drivers to coordinate loading and unloading sequences
3. Weighing and Documentation
Supervise the weighing process before and after loading to ensure accuracy
Record weight data to comply with shipping and customer requirements
Handle exceptions such as overweight or discrepancies in weight measurements
4. On-Site Operations Coordination
Communicate with drivers to organize work schedules
Resolve unexpected issues such as vehicle dispatch problems
Ensure smooth workflow to prevent congestion in the yard
5. Safety Management
Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols
Ensure workers wear safety gear (e.g., reflective vests, gloves)
Report and address safety risks to improve operational procedures
