Job Description
Industry: Microfinance Bank
Location: Jibowu, Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Budget: NGN 660,000 Monthly Gross
Job Description (Summary)
As Internal Control & Compliance (Enterprise Risk Management - ERM), you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong internal control frameworks to safeguard the bank’s assets and reputation.
Develop and implement internal control policies and risk management frameworks.
Ensure compliance with CBN, NDIC, AML/CFT regulations and financial laws.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to evaluate operational controls.
Monitor transactions for fraud risks and implement preventative measures.
Train employees on risk management, compliance policies, and fraud detection.
Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports.
Develops Compliance framework for the organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management.
MCT CIBN certification is mandatory.
Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, ERM) is an advantage.
5+ years of experience in internal control, compliance, or risk management in a banking environment.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks for microfinance banks.
Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
