• We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our team in Epe. Reporting to the
Head of Operations, the Operations Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations while
delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations Support:
o Assist in managing daily branch operations, including account opening, transaction processing, and cash handling.
o Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all financial transactions.

2. Customer Service:
o Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and guiding customers on available products and services.
o Assist in the onboarding of new customers and educate them on the use of digital banking services.

3. Compliance and Documentation:
o Ensure all operations comply with CBN regulations, internal policies, and microfinance banking standards.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and customer documentation.

4. Cash Management:
o Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure the branch maintains adequate liquidity.
o Support the Head of Operations in daily cash reconciliation and vault management.

5. Operational Efficiency:
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to streamlining branch operations.
o Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure operational targets are met.

6. Risk Management:
o Adhere to all internal control measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of customer funds.
o Promptly escalate any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the Head of Operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Education:
• A minimum of a HND/Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related
field.
o Professional certifications (e.g., CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage
Close proximity to Epe is required

Experience:
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in the microfinance sector.
• Hands-on experience with transaction processing and customer service is highly desirable.
• A close proximity to Epe is required

Skills:
Knowledge of microfinance banking operations, cash handling, and customer service principles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
