Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive reports directly to the Business Manager. Interacting with the Sales, Operations and Accounts department
Interactions with the Sales and Operations department will basically be advisory in areas of sales, marketing and logistics, while interactions with the Accounts department will mainly be on matter relating to budgeting and forecasting.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse and update customer and product information
• Management of Customer database.
• Engagement in the Business development activities and strategic activities that will aid current and future business for the company.
• Implementation of business development strategies in relation to current and future businesses.
• Build up businesses by gaining new customers, through strategy formulation
• Develop strategic partnerships or alliance that generate positive result
• Successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities
• Draw up proposals to prospects for new clients
• Follow up new business opportunities and set up meetings
• Communicate new product developments to prospective clients
• Review of professional journals and publications, proposals for management information and decision
• Carry out market intelligence tests and provide management with market feedback
• Manage Projects, Tenders/Bid Processes and maintain project files
• Spearhead Corporate Social Responsibility (SCR) strategy
• Planning and Preparing Presentations for Management use

Requirement:
* Five years’ experience with an impressive track record that demonstrates ability to drive growth and profitability for the company.
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
* Proficient in MS word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Ability to create and deliver presentation.

Educational Qualification:

* BSC/HND in any related discipline
* Having an experience in the healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
