Job Description
Job Title: Chinese Translator
Location: Ikeja GRA
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:
Translate documents, emails, and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa
Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations while maintaining the original meaning and tone
Assist in verbal interpretations during meetings, negotiations, and communications
Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy and clarity
Work closely with different departments to facilitate smooth communication
Handle technical, legal, business, or medical translations as required
Stay updated on language trends and industry-specific terminology
Job Requirements:
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and English (both written and spoken)
Proven experience in translation or interpretation
Strong understanding of grammar, tone, and cultural nuances
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Familiarity with translation software/tools is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
