Job Description

Job Summary:
The Land Speculator will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential land acquisition opportunities. This role requires expertise in topographic mapping, land boundary verification, and due diligence to ensure accurate land acquisition processes. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the local land conditions, cultural landscape, and community relationships, with strong negotiation and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Be familiar with the local topography and land A013, ensuring accurate mapping and land identification.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities to facilitate smooth land acquisition processes.
Verify land boundaries by inspecting corner markers, assessing the terrain, and interviewing nearby landowners.
Conduct due diligence by collecting and verifying landowner information, ensuring the authenticity of ownership details.
Assess landowners' willingness to sell and provide reports on acquisition possibilities.
Coordinate with landowners and surveyors to conduct land surveys and verification.
Compile and submit verified land data to the Land Department for further processing.
Utilize OVITAL mapping software and mobile applications to support land analysis and documentation.

Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Land Management, Real Estate, Geography, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in land acquisition, real estate, or surveying is an advantage.
Knowledge of topographic mapping and land boundary verification.
Ability to conduct land due diligence and legal verification.
Proficiency in using OVITAL mapping software and mobile applications.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with local communities.
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of land acquisition procedures.
Ability to work independently in outdoor environments.
