Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning:
o Develop and implement comprehensive schedules for project mobilization and demobilization.
o Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, logistics, and HSE teams to define activities, durations, and constraints.
o Identify interdependencies and create baseline schedules, incorporating all critical path activities.
• Monitoring and Control:
o Continuously track progress against baseline schedules, updating as required.
o Highlight deviations or potential delays and work proactively with teams to implement corrective actions.
o Generate progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to internal and external stakeholders.
o Perform schedule risk analysis to identify time-related risks.
o Recommend mitigation plans for slippages and unplanned interruptions.
• Communication and Coordination:
o Facilitate regular schedule review meetings.
o Ensure effective communication of schedule changes to all impacted parties.
• Procurement & Planning:
o Develop the supply plan in coordination with project management, operations, and logistics teams.
o Source key components such as transport trailers, cranes, , site prep materials, and support infrastructure.
o Issue purchase orders, service agreements, and rental contracts aligned with project needs.
• Logistics Coordination:
o Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including routing, customs clearance, and staging.
o Optimize truck dispatch, laydown yard management, and crane scheduling to minimize downtime.
• Vendor Management:
o Identify, prequalify, and manage a network of logistics providers and suppliers.
o Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and service quality.
o Negotiate rates and resolve disputes efficiently
• HSE & Compliance:
o Ensure all transportation and handling activities comply with company safety standards, legal regulations, and local transport laws.
o Conduct audits and inspections of equipment and service providers.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the oil & gas or heavy equipment sector.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams & Project.
• Excellent understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and resource leveling.
• Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

- ₦550,000.00 Monthly
