Field Engineer

The job roles involve installing, configuring, maintaining, and repair of various automated security systems, including access control systems, turnstiles, barriers, and baggage scanners. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for acquiring new clients, commissioning systems, and ensuring the seamless operation of security infrastructure.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Prepare detailed reports on system configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting actions for documentation and compliance purposes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing their security needs.
Ensure all security systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards, maintaining a secure environment.
Stay informed on new technologies and recommend system enhancements to improve functionality and client experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
B.Sc or HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated security systems such as access control systems, turnstiles, barriers, baggage scanners, CCTV and other security technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on quality and deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for system configuration and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
