Job Description

*Swift Consulting* .... an Education, Human Resources and Management firm is currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced applicant to fill the role of *Cook /Chef* for one of our clients in the Hospitality Industry.

*LOCATION* : Apapa, Lagos

*REQUIREMENTS*
•Minimum of SSCE or OND degree.
• The ideal candidate must be able to prepare at least two or three of the following; Continental cuisine, Italian cuisine, Nigerian cuisine, and Chinese cuisine.
•Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef.
•Ability to stand for long periods of time
•Ability to read and write is compulsory

*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES*
•Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
•Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
•Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
•Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
•Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
•Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
