Job Description

Candidate must be experienced in cooking competitive Nigerian foods in large scale - 100 portions & above, on a daily basis; Experience in working at a restaurant/food service business. Experience in baking snacks is an added advantage

1. Work as back-up to the Chef
2. Assist in timely production of food and early dispatch of all foods to sales stations, daily
3. Assist in the management of daily released inventory, raw materials and stocks
4. Follow company recipes to ensure consistency of taste and quality
5. Ensuring adherence to hygienic and food safe practices during food preparation
6. Assist in the inspection of raw materials and cooked food to guarantee highest quality products are served to customers
7. Ensure functionality of all kitchen equipment and timely report of any equipment breakdown to the Head Chef
8. Ensure daily temperature checks of all refrigeration and freezer units
9. Ensure proper management and control of food waste by careful awareness of personal and team's food preparation methods
Salary:
