Job Description

Job Title: Valuer
Industry: Estate Surveying and Property Valuation
Location: Alausa, Ikeja
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦120,000 Monthly

Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Valuer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the value of properties and assets for a variety of purposes, including sales, rentals, mortgage, insurance, and investment decisions. The ideal candidate must have a solid foundation in property valuation and knowledge of current market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct valuations of residential, commercial, industrial, and special-purpose properties.
Prepare accurate valuation reports in line with industry standards and client requirements.
Undertake site inspections and compile relevant data for valuation purposes.
Analyze market trends and comparable property data to inform valuations.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, government agencies, and private clients.
Ensure all valuation assignments are completed within agreed timelines.
Maintain proper records and documentation for all valuation activities.
Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all valuation practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Valuation, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in property valuation or estate surveying.
Good understanding of valuation methodologies and property laws.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant valuation tools/software.
Membership or progression towards certification with NIESV is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
