Job Description
* Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts and other baked goods as per à la carte menu orders.
* Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
* Decorate pastries and desserts using modern and traditional techniques.
* Ensure that all products are made with attention to freshness, taste, and visual appeal.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and assist in placing orders when necessary.
* Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to coordinate the timing and presentation of desserts for service.
* Innovate and suggest new dessert menu items in line with seasonal ingredients or customer preferences.
* Adhere to portion control, minimize waste, and ensure cost-effective preparation practices.
* Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working condition.
