Job Description

Responsibility

•Implement procurement plans in compliance with company procurement policy and procedures.

•Oversee the procurement process, including needs assessment, vendor sourcing, quotation or tender preparation, evaluation, and selection.

•Manage and coordinate tender processes, ensuring proper documentation, transparent evaluations, and adherence to policy guidelines.

•Supervise the issuance and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, authorization, and compliance with internal controls.

•Ensure that procurement activities and contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.

•Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with vendors to secure value for money.

•Coordinate with the Internal Audit & Control Department for tender and quotation reviews, ensuring transparency and compliance with established standards.

•Manage vendor onboarding processes and maintain an up-to-date vendor register.

•Conduct market analysis to identify competitive pricing, supply chain efficiencies, and procurement opportunities.

•Ensure timely inventory management in coordination with operational departments to minimise disruptions.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain may, Business Administration, Engineering or related field

•Minimum of 5 year’s procurement experience preferably in midstream and downstream sectors within the oil and gas industry

•Certification in procurement and supply chain management (e.g , CIPS,CPSM) is advantageous

•strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills

Proficiency in procurement software systems and ERP application
