Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Store Keeper to manage the restaurant's inventory and stock control system. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, maintain accurate records, and support cost-effective purchasing and usage of supplies. Candidates with an understanding of inventory-related sales trends and basic marketing insights are highly encouraged to apply, as the role also involves supporting promotional planning and inventory forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store all incoming stock and materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update stock databases
Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish supplies as needed
Ensure the proper arrangement and labeling of items for easy identification and access
Track inventory usage and identify slow-moving or high-demand items
Collaborate with the kitchen and procurement teams to forecast stock based on sales trends
Support the implementation of promotions and seasonal menus by aligning inventory availability
Assist in conducting periodic stock counts and audits
Ensure cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area
Provide reports on stock status and highlight discrepancies or issues
Maintain proper documentation of inventory movement and supplier records
Requirements
Must be male
2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
OND, HND, or a Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
Basic understanding of inventory control systems and sales data
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software
High level of integrity and accountability
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Must reside in Abuja, preferably within or near Wuse 2
