We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Managing Director/CEO (Ref: MFB/MD/MAY25/INT) to lead the bank’s transformation journey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in financial services, with proven expertise in deposit mobilization, digital innovation, and strategic execution. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Drive the development and execution of the Bank’s strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability goals, in line with the vision and objectives of the Board and the broader goals of the Group.
Utilize deep market knowledge and a strong professional network to attract deposits, grow the customer base, and expand the Bank’s footprint within its target segments.
Oversee the development and launch of new financial products, including savings, deposits, and loan offerings, tailored to meet local market needs.
Ensure efficient operations, optimizing cost structures, streamlining processes, and maintaining high service standards across all touchpoints.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory bodies; ensure full adherence to CBN and microfinance regulatory guidelines and standards.
Champion a strong performance culture through inclusive leadership, talent development, and continuous staff engagement at all levels.
Lead the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives to drive revenue, operational efficiency and improve accessibility for customers.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification or professional certifications (e.g., CIBN, MBA, ACCA) is an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a C-suite role.
Strong and proven record of deposit mobilization and business growth
Good knowledge of the Nigerian banking regulations and a well-established network in the Nigerian financial sector.
Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills
