Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar managerial role within the food service industry. This role requires a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring efficient, compliant, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Supervise, motivate, and support all restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel.
- Hire, train, and onboard new employees, ensuring alignment with company standards and culture.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules while optimizing labor costs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive team growth.

2. Customer Experience:
- Ensure an excellent dining experience for all guests through top-tier service and attention to detail.
- Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and organized dining environment.

3. Operational Management:
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency across all departments.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness and cleanliness.
- Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.

4. Financial Oversight:
- Manage restaurant budgets and work towards achieving financial targets.
- Monitor daily sales, labor expenses, and inventory to optimize profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to identify areas for improvement.

5. Inventory and Supply Coordination:
- Oversee inventory management to avoid shortages or excess.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Track usage of food, beverages, and other supplies to reduce waste.

6. Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold all local health and safety standards, including food safety regulations.
- Keep updated with regulatory changes and ensure full compliance with licensing and sanitation requirements.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure proper equipment usage.

Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership position in the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, both front and back of house.
- Proven leadership and team management skills in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Comfortable with POS systems and inventory software.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Thorough understanding of food safety and health regulations.
Salary:
₦250,000.00 Monthly
