Job Description

- Dispensing prescription medication to patients
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication therapy management
- Counseling patients on proper medication use, storage and potential side effects
- Providing counseling on over-the-counter medication use
- Providing advice on different health products and supplements
- Managing and maintaining pharmacy inventory
- Receives prescriptions, checks patients' medicine histories, and ensures optimal dosage and methods of administration and drug compatibility before dispensing.
- Maintains prescription files and records issue of narcotics, poisons and habit-forming drugs.
