Job Description (Summary)
As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends that can influence strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the company to ensure that data insights are leveraged for improving business performance.
Data Collection & Analysis:
Gather business intelligence from internal data, industry reports, and external sources such as market trends and public information.
Analyze market strategies and trends related to products, competitors, and potential opportunities.
Use BI tools to identify and track current and potential customers, sales trends, and business growth opportunities.
Strategic Insights & Reporting:
Identify potential markets for future product development and opportunities to increase sales of existing products by analyzing relevant data.
Compile actionable insights from business intelligence to inform decision-making and strategic recommendations for key stakeholders.
Summarize financial and economic data for review by executives, managers, and clients.
Industry Trends & Continuous Improvement:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends by interacting with professional organizations, suppliers, and competitors.
Continuously monitor business processes to identify areas for improvement in sales, marketing, and operations.
Technical & Operational Support:
Support the IT team with data-driven insights to enhance business systems and processes.
Use SQL and Power BI to generate reports, dashboards, and visual data insights for various departments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
· Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and BI tools like Power BI and SQL.
· Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
