Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
Business Issue Analytics: Analyze market trends and business challenges to provide actionable insights.
Growth Opportunity Sizing: Identify and evaluate new growth avenues for the brand.
Where to Play/How to Win Strategy Setting: Develop strategic frameworks for market positioning and competitive advantage.

2. Creative & Campaign Process Management Leadership
Agency Briefing Oversight: Lead the agency briefing process from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Shopper Programs: Create and adapt innovative shopper programs that resonate with target audiences.
Integrated Brand Experience: Develop, execute, and track comprehensive 360-degree integrated brand experience programs across various platforms.
Multi-Functional Agency Management: Oversee collaboration with multiple agencies to ensure cohesive communication strategies, pack design, and content management.

3. Business & Budget Management Leadership
Innovation & Initiative Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of new marketing initiatives and product innovations.
Demand Planning: Forecast demand to ensure effective resource allocation.
Budget Management: Oversee marketing budget and P2P tracking to ensure financial accountability and effectiveness.

4. Project Management
End-to-End Innovation Delivery: Lead the innovation process from business case development to execution, ensuring alignment with financial and operational viability.
4 Cs Analyses & Value Chain Evaluation: Conduct thorough analyses to inform strategic decisions.
Commercial & Marketing Planning: Develop comprehensive plans that align with brand objectives and market demands.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Consumer Behavior Insights: Work with analytics teams to integrate consumer behavior data into brand strategies.
Product Development & Testing: Collaborate on product concept testing and development to align with market needs.
Trade & Instore Marketing: Coordinate efforts for effective trade and instore marketing strategies.

Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (2:1) in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of macro forces and consumer behavior affecting brand strategy.
Must have strong analytical skills, strategic communication skills, digital proficiency and brand management skills.
Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams & a keen eye for market trends and brand opportunities.
