Job Description
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Provide recommendations and advice on suitable travel destinations, tour packages, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Prepare and present detailed itineraries to clients, including information on attractions, activities, and costs.
- Make reservations for flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, local guides, and other service providers to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
- Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and any necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on travel trends, new destinations, and industry developments to provide up-to-date information to clients.
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote tour packages and attract new clients.
- Conduct research and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality of tour packages and services offered.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to the travel industry.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, or any related field.
Skills
- 1 year proven work experience as a Tour Consultant/Vacation Expert or in a similar role within the travel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations, attractions, and tour packages.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong marketing skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in itinerary preparation and reservation bookings.
- Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and travel planning software
Salary: N120,000 (Starting Salary)
